Swollen Jalapeno Nodes!

Again ! is this kind of node-swelling typical of peppers..?!

This photo was taken on August 30 2006, so the "growth" has had time to develop.

These swellings are caused by are symbiotic bacteria, I'm guessing. The kind of profuse branching that occurred above these swellings was also amazing ! And the flowers were so numerous ! I will have 80 pounds of jalapenos !
